Bronze Age!
Aside from giving your skin that radiant sun quenched looked bronzers also provide a slimming effect that not only makes you look like a diva it makes you feel like one too. The bronzed look, (in my opinion) is going to be the cosmetic face of the 21st century. Whether its obtained through products like NARS Body Glow or through basking in the sun, everyone wants to be baked this season. To get this look quick try using a face powder or foundation 2 to 3 shades darker than your usual powder or foundation; and apply to areas where the sun is more likely to hit. The reason: whether you like the mat feel, or sheer luminance, you'll be sure to obtain a satisfying result, looking more tanned in no time.

FreshlyBaked

Well we all know you got the goods, now it's time to get them baked. The sun is blazing hot and we know what that means ... MORE SKIN! Hormones around the globe (except for those God forsaken cold places, that we won't mention) are cheering in unison. But before you expose that pasty white skin to the world around you THINK, and by think, we mean act. The first thing you need to do is get yourself a damn good bronzer. You could do it the natural way, but that will turn you into a raisin faster than you can say Sun∙Maid. We have fallen in love with NARS Body Glow bronzer. So in love that we can’t help but slather it on till we’re glistening golden all over! It’s basically sexpot in a bottle. If you don’t believe us, then go ahead and roast yourself until you look like Magda in There’s Something About Mary.
After you have made yourself a glistening gold goddess/god, we don’t discriminate; you need some ‘icing’ for your Fresh Baked Goods. Roberto Cavalli’s snake inspired shades are the ticket you’re looking for. These glasses not only shield your peepers from harmful rays; they are hotter than the blazing sun. Available in Toronto at Optical Outlook, 104 Yorkville Avenue. Now I have three hot little secret spots to get, shall we say, Freshly Baked…First, you guessed it, Amsterdam. But we’re not talking just anywhere in Amsterdam, we’re talking the Lloyd Hotel. Good times to be had by all here. Next stop is Canada’s own little Amsterdam, more commonly known as Vansterdam, more commonly known as Vancouver. Gastown’s strip of Hemp Café’s has become a popular spot to relax with friends, or by yourself. This is where you thank me for the Cavalli shades. But don’t forget the shopping! Shopping that shall be done at Richard Kidd’s stylish boutique. Finally, we hit New York’s infamous B.E.D bar’s Rooftop patio for little but of fun. Tuesday’s nights Mingle themed party hosted by Toronto’s own Pablo DeRitis has become a hit with the locals and hipsters alike. Check it out and tell them Cheek sent you!
